FIVE WAYS I WILL HELP YOU MAKE A GOOD HOME PURCHASE

Here are five things I will do when negotiating a home purchase for you.
  1. Determine leverage. Leverage is based on local market conditions and other factors that can give a buyer or seller an advantage. As a licensed Realtor, I can provide insights and context.
  2. Leverage comparable sales. As your Realtor, I have access to a wide database of homes in your area showing comparable sales sales prices, number “days on market” for similar homes, and much more. These numbers can be invaluable as we determine your bidding and negotiation strategy.
  3. Respond immediately to counteroffers. When a seller responds to an offer with a counteroffer, it’s I will respond to it quickly. Before submitting your initial offer, I will discuss likely scenarios so you are ready to respond to counteroffers in best way.
  4. Understand the terms of purchase. When your offer is accepted, I will review the purchase agreement with you. It's not unusual for sellers to include addendums and special clauses, and you will need to determine if these terms are deal-breakers.
  5. Never cut out the “middle man.” It may be tempting to directly negotiate terms directily with the seller, but you don't want to forfeit sound advice for your best interest while the seller is still consulting with their listing agent to get the best terms.
